This is one of the most important questions to ask yourself before you get married. this society has deluded many, including Muslims, into to looking for the celebrity type for a marital partner as opposed to the God fearing type. The prospective husband must look picture perfect and have plenty of money to spend.
Unfortunately, these are not the qualifying conditions that make a good husband. When times get hard and problems arise, good looks and money will not smooth the wrinkles in the relationship. Having a patient, Allah fearing husband who wants to please Allah and fears Allah's wrath if he transgresses his wife, is the type of man who can help work out the kinks in a marriage that is going through trials and difficulties.
